Reports emerged that Rhonda Mengert, 51, is suing TSA for allegedly conducting a strip search on her at Tulsa International Airport in May, before she boarded her flight to Las Vegas. TSA currently do not conduct strip searches. Mengert claimed that metal in her hip implant set off the detectors. She was the patted down by officers who found she was wearing a feminine hygiene product. She was allegedly taken to a private room where officers told her to remove her pants, exposing her genitals, so the product could be inspected.
