Linton Bryan, 34, was found guilty of drunk, abusive and threatening behaviour on a Thomas Cook flight from Manchester to Antalya in June 2018. Bryan was particularly abusive towards one female cabin crew member, claiming she was racist. He slapped a fellow passenger in the face for intervening. During landing he threatened to open a door and kill everyone. Three members of the crew were awarded commendations by Greater Manchester Police for their bravery. Bryan was sentenced to eighteen months in jail.
